Terms of use

Postward is in private testing. These terms will be reviewed by counsel before Postward opens to the public.

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and SBROS Holdings LLC, a New York company (“Postward”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Postward, you agree to them.

Our Privacy policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your information.

Private testing

Postward is in private testing. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may pause the service while we fix things. Please tell us about problems at hello@sbros.com.

Who can use Postward

• You must be 18 or older.
• Accounts are by invitation only.
• In this version, a parent or guardian cannot create an account for anyone under 18.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password private, and tell us at hello@sbros.com right away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Recovery circles

A recovery circle is the patient and the family members or friends invited to help. People join only by accepting an invite link themselves. The person who started the recovery, or the patient, can remove anyone, and anyone can leave at any time.

Everyone in a circle can see what is entered in that recovery. Only invite people the patient is comfortable sharing their health information with. If you start a recovery for someone else, you confirm that they know about it and agree to it.

Your responsibilities

• Enter information accurately and keep it up to date.
• Follow your care team. If anything in Postward differs from what your surgeon, nurse, pharmacist or therapist told you, follow them.
• Check everything against your discharge papers, including every medication, strength and time.
• Do not use Postward for emergencies. Call 911.
• Do not rely on Postward as the only way to remember a medication or to spot a warning sign.

Plans and medication lists

The recovery plan templates in Postward are general drafts for common procedures. They have not been reviewed for your situation. Your care team’s instructions always come first.

The medication list is a log that you and your circle type in. It is not a prescription, and Postward does not give dosing advice. Postward does not check doses, drug interactions or allergies.

Recovery Pass

• The Recovery Pass is optional.
• It is a one-time purchase of $49 for one recovery. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
• It gives that recovery premium features for 90 days from the day you buy it.
• During private testing, payments run in Stripe’s test mode. No real charge is made.
• If you want a refund, email hello@sbros.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Access a recovery, account or information you were not invited to.
• Post invite links publicly, or send them to people the patient has not agreed to.
• Enter information about someone without their permission.
• Try to break, overload or get around Postward’s security.
• Copy or resell Postward, or use it to build a competing service.
• Use Postward for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive.

Your information

What you enter in Postward stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people in your recovery circle, only as needed to run Postward and as described in our Privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop using Postward and delete your account at any time, in the app under Account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. We may also end the private test. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to get a copy of your information.

Disclaimers

Postward is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Postward will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Information in Postward may be missing, late or wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SBROS Holdings LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Postward.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Postward is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us for Postward.

Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used Postward, what you entered in it, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Postward after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
